The Centre for Nursing, Midwifery and Allied Health Professions Research (CNMAR) based at a major London teaching hospital, wanted to launch a journal to highlight the importance of clinical research by staff in spreading good practice. Working within NHS national and local brand guidelines, we developed a design template and editorial process to support triannual publication. Now in its fourth year, the journal is helping the Centre promote staff research, supporting staff recruitment and retention and raising the profile of the staff research within the trust, across the NHS and internationally.
